How distance actually affects the price
Not by the mile. Striping is priced from a schedule of items plus a mobilisation charge per visit, so the thing that moves the number on a further job is how many separate trips it takes rather than how far each one is.
On a single small lot in Pampa or Vega, that mobilisation is a larger share of the total than it would be on the same lot in Amarillo, and we will say so rather than quietly loading it. The better arrangement is planning several pieces of work into one trip: two properties, or a combined crack seal, patch and restripe on one. We run the northern corridor work up Interstate 27 as single trips wherever the schedule allows.
If your job is not urgent, telling us that is genuinely useful, because it lets us fit it into a trip that is already happening.
